The heart of the perfume honors the Bourbon Rose, once grown among vanilla vines on the island of Réunion. With its fleshy, honeyed petals, it brings softness and refinement to the untamed greenness and bold spices that surround it — taming the wildness with grace.

The opening is brisk and striking: juniper and rosemary create an aromatic chill, while grapefruit adds a zesty, dry shimmer. As the fragrance develops, the heart blooms with peppery cardamom and green angelica — bold, herbaceous, and almost feral. The rose enters here, pink and luminous, diffusing sweetness and warmth. Finally, the drydown reveals the true paradox: vanilla in its raw, resinous form — sweet but not cloying, paired with ambroxan’s smooth, musky clarity and a subtle tobacco whisper.
