After a walk at the stud farm, as the horses return to the stable and the tack room comes to life, Kasar melds woody, animalistic, and leathery scents. It opens with a rose-tinged bergamot, followed by notes of saffron, cinnamon, and clove. Its lingering trail features a blend of oud, patchouli, cedar, and cistus, softened by musky leather undertones. Mysterious and distinctive, Kasar is perfect for those who love bold, uninhibited fragrances and seek a chic, unique olfactory signature !

The Latin name of the small guaiac tree from South America translates to "wood of life," likely due to its status as one of the densest and most durable woods in the world. It is especially prized for its ability to harmonize heart notes and base notes in woody, oriental, amber, or fougère fragrances. Because of these qualities, it has become one of the most popular raw materials in perfumery.

I wanted to honor this city I cherish, its natural beauty, and its rich heritage. A tribute to Napoleon, who made Fontainebleau his primary residence, Kasar was one of his favorite Arabian thoroughbreds. Alongside perfumer Jean-François Latty, we aimed to create a mysterious, intense, and captivating fragrance that reflects the splendor of the horse and the warmth of life in Fontainebleau." - Caroline Ilacqua.
